Virgin
Virgin Racing entered Formula 1 in 2010, marking Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group's foray into team ownership. Originating from the Manor Grand Prix project, the team struggled for competitiveness throughout its two seasons, often finishing at the back of the grid. Despite the high-profile backing, the team never scored points and underwent a significant rebranding to Marussia F1 Team for the 2012 season, ending Virgin's direct involvement as a constructor. Their tenure is largely remembered for their distinct red and white livery and as one of the new entries from the 2010 season that ultimately failed to establish themselves.
