Shinji Nakano
Shinji Nakano was a Japanese driver who competed in Formula 1 for two seasons. Known for his smooth driving style, he debuted with Prost Grand Prix in 1997, partnering Olivier Panis. Despite often racing with less competitive machinery, Nakano was a consistent finisher, completing 10 of 17 races in his rookie year. He moved to Minardi for the 1998 season, where he continued to demonstrate his reliability, though points remained elusive. Nakano ultimately started 33 Grands Prix.
