Cooper was a British team founded by Charles and John Cooper that changed Grand Prix racing by moving the engine behind the driver. This entry covers Cooper cars outside the Coventry Climax-powered period, including the early years from 1950 and Rob Walker's cars. Stirling Moss won the 1958 Argentine Grand Prix and Maurice Trintignant the 1958 Monaco Grand Prix, both in cars entered by Rob Walker, and Cooper started 33 Grands Prix under this name. Its title-winning years of 1959 and 1960 are recorded under the Cooper-Climax name.
