Stewart Grand Prix was founded by the three-time World Champion Jackie Stewart and his son Paul, who built the team with Ford engines and entered Formula 1 in 1997. Johnny Herbert won the 1999 European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring, the team's only win, and the team also took 5 podiums, with Rubens Barrichello and Jan Magnussen among its drivers. It started 49 Grands Prix before being sold to Ford and renamed Jaguar for 2000.
