Marina Bay Street Circuit

The Marina Bay Street Circuit became Formula 1's first night race when it hosted the Singapore Grand Prix in 2008. Its demanding layout of tight, bumpy street corners and close barriers punishes even small errors, and the heat and humidity make it one of the most physically demanding races of the year. Races have often involved safety cars. It has hosted 17 Grands Prix, and its illuminated skyline has become an iconic image of modern Formula 1.
