Race Notes
- The race featured exciting battles between the first two drivers Leclerc and Verstappen. Unfortunately for Leclerc, he could not try to overtake Verstappen in the last two laps because of a yellow flag in the long DRS straight.
- Mick Schumacher suffered a horrible crash in Qualifying with an impact of 33G. He is fine but Haas decided not to start with his car. This caused some discussion about the safety of the track layout with high speed but no runoff areas.
- The race featured alot of DNFs: Albon, Bottas, Alonso and Ricciardo. Tsunoda did not even start after issues in an installation lap.
- Both Alpine drivers had hard battles between them that were entertaining to watch but caused both cars to lose quite some time. The team did not intervene.
