Wolf
Walter Wolf Racing, founded by Canadian businessman Walter Wolf, emerged in Formula 1 in 1977 as an ambitious privateer entry. Their debut was immediately historic, with Jody Scheckter winning their first-ever race, the 1977 Argentine Grand Prix. This remarkable start, coupled with the distinctive black and gold livery of the Wolf WR1 chassis, made them an instant fan favourite. Although their time in F1 was brief, spanning just three full seasons, Wolf Racing achieved 3 victories and 13 podiums, cementing their place as one of the most successful independent teams of their era.
