Surtees was a British constructor founded by John Surtees, the only man to win world titles on both two and four wheels. It raced in Formula 1 from 1970 to 1978, and Mike Hailwood took second place at the 1972 Italian Grand Prix, its best result. Drivers also included Vittorio Brambilla and Carlos Pace, and Surtees started 117 Grands Prix and took 2 podiums. The team never won a Grand Prix.
